About Us

Anne Tobin, the Director of the college, has many years experience in the beauty industry, both as a practitioner and a trainer. Anne qualified as a beauty practitioner from the Bronwyn Conroy Beauty College in Grafton Street, Dublin. Anne went on to become a tutor in that college, lecturing in all areas of beauty therapy. Anne then moved to London where she ran a very successful beauty clinic that included London's first nail bar.

In 1998 Anne returned to her native Castlebar, where her family are involved in the medical profession; she opened her first beauty clinic in Newline, Anne started teaching nail technology and undertook further education herself in courses like aerobics, nutrition, sports injuries, aromatherapy and reflexology. It was through this involvement in her own further education that Anne identified the need for a Beauty and Holistic college in Castlebar.

The college boasts a spacious modern practical room, 2 large classrooms and a canteen for students. Showers and lockers are available for students use. A state of the art clinic is attached to the college which is open 6 days a week. This clinic allows students to experience the environment of a real clinic. In addition there is also ample free car parking for all students.

The college caters for all students - those who are just starting out in their career, to those who are interested in furthering their career with two world wide recognised qualifications, ITEC and CIBTAC. By obtainin these two qualifications graduates are more employable and can work worldwide in the beauty industry.

Courses are run on a full time or part time basis.

Beauty students are trained in Dermalogica - a very sought after clinic product and also train with a professional makeup range. Training with both these products is highly advantageous when seeking employment.
